My daily practices:
"Each morning before work, I eat a high fiber breakfast,
soak in the hot tub, pray and meditate. During the day I jog
or walk for about 30 minutes. Several days per week I do
non-strenuous anaerobic weightlifting. I am not a
vegetarian, but I tend to eat meat only at dinner, and limit my
red meat intake to once every 1-2 weeks. Also, I am very
protective of my sleep, and get approximately 8 hours of
sleep per night."

On becoming a physician:
"My transition into the health care field started when I
became a father. My daughter has had allergies and
sensitivities since birth. We learned to eliminate toxins
from our home environment and to eat whole foods,
organic foods and free range products. Even with these
practices, challenges remained. Eventually, I decided to
take things into my own hands, returning to school to
study naturopathic medicine."
On men's issues:
"Having gone through this career transition in middle
age, I have experienced many of the challenges of being
a man in today's society. I offer counselling on men's
issues and career."
